As an enthusiastic apprenticeship provider, it is important to us that we provide our junior colleagues with targeted support. We even have our own training department with apprenticeships in varied occupations.
DEVELOPMENT
We offer you continuous development opportunities – both professional and personal – with regular support for our team in the form of training and workshops. This boosts faith in our own abilities and helps you to realise your full potential.
QUALIFICATION
Our aim is to help you achieve your goals – for instance with further training to become a foreman, technician or engineer. We also support you with dual studies and in most cases even take care of the financing.

CHRISTMAS AT MODELLTECHNIK
A TEAM OF SMART COOKIES
To ensure we meet our customers’ expectations day in day out, we follow one simple recipe: team spirit.
But prototypes are not the only things we make. In 2022 we organised a Christmas baking campaign for a good cause and baked biscuits for the children’s hospice in Tambach-Dietharz. The air was full of Christmas cheer and a festive atmosphere as we stepped into Herbert Frauenberger’s kitchen for a special experience. After a glass of home-made mulled wine, we kneaded, stirred, rolled and cut out the dough. Everyone had a lovely time baking together and we would like to share the experience with you in our Christmas baking video.

Christmas 2022: baking biscuits for a good cause.
TABLE FOOTBALL
HANDIWORK AND FOOTBALL
We are always open to exciting projects and ideas from our trainees.
During one very special project, our apprentice Nina was able to apply what she had learnt and combine theory with practice in the last year of her industrial business management apprenticeship.
We had been wanting a table football table for our showroom for a long time and then the moment came when Nina had the idea shortly before Christmas: ‘Let’s build our own!’ After all, we have all the skills we needed for this in-house.
All the staff were enthusiastic about the idea and so Nina set to work designing the concept.
She gained practical insights into classic project management and closely supervised the production of her table across all the departments.
It was a great project that everybody got fully behind. The result is there for all to see – and to play.
From the design to additive manufacturing and model making – everyone demonstrated what it means to be a team player. Not least thanks to Nina’s great project management. So it’s game on for all our employees and future players. Thank you, Nina!
